Learn the tools you need to turn your lived experience into an engaging tale—or the genesis of a one-person show. Deborah Williams—co-founder of The Flame in Vancouver and Victoria—returns to the Belfry to lead another friendly and inspiring workshop for experienced and first-time storytellers. An award-winning actor, writer, and director, Deborah is one of the creators of the international phenomenon known as Mom’s the Word.

This is a TWO DAY workshop, and participants must be able to attend both days (Sep 30 and Oct 1, 10am - 4pm each day). Price for both days is $150.00 (plus GST). Register online or call the Belfry Box Office at 250-385-6815. Space is limited.

The Flame is a storytelling series that features real people, sharing their personal true stories in front of a live audience. Since its inception in 2009, The Flame has flourished and grown into a wildly popular event that has packed venues in Vancouver and Victoria.

This event takes place in the Belfry lobby; seating is first-come, first-served -- those arriving later may find standing room only. Lobby opens at 6pm.
